The day belonged to young spinner Todd Murphy, who celebrated his 24th birthday with a stellar spell of 4 for 37. Murphy, who was previously the preferred second spinner for Australia during the Ashes, will be hoping that this performance strengthens his case for selection in the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka.
