New Zealand Clinch Historic 3-0 Sweep of India in Test Series
New Zealand captain Tom Latham was “very, very ecstatic” after his team secured a historic 3-0 whitewash of India in the home Test series. This marked the first time India had been swept in a home Test series of at least three matches.
Latham attributed the team’s success to their ability to adapt to different pitches and being “a little bit more aggressive with the bat.” He highlighted the “all-round, great team effort” that allowed New Zealand to become the first visiting side to beat India in a series at home in 12 years.
