England Spinner Jack Leach Signs New Two-Year Contract with Somerset
England spinner Jack Leach has signed a new two-year contract with Somerset, the club he has represented throughout his entire career. The 33-year-old, who was born and raised in Taunton, has earned 36 Test caps for his country and taken 126 wickets at an impressive average of 34.40.
“Somerset is home and I feel very lucky to continue to represent the club I love,” he told the club’s official website. “The support I’ve had from the club and the fans over the last 12 months whilst out injured has meant so much, and I look forward to repaying that faith with performances on the pitch.”
