    Derbyshire, June 10th – In a thrilling Vitality Blast North Group match, the Derbyshire Falcons secured a resounding 96-run victory over their local rivals, the Nottinghamshire Outlaws, at Derby. This marked the Falcons’ first T20 triumph over the Outlaws in nine years.

    Superb batting performances from Wayne Madsen (53 off 32 balls) and Ross Whiteley (46 off 16 balls) propelled the Falcons to a formidable total of 198 for 6. Madsen and Whiteley’s partnership lifted the Falcons from a precarious 76 for 4 after 10 overs.
