Cricket Clash: Salman Agha Leads Pakistan in Hobart Finale
Hobart, November 18, 2024 – In the third and final T20I of the series, Pakistan have won the toss and decided to bat first against Australia. Salman Agha is the stand-in captain for the visitors, with regular skipper Mohammad Rizwan missing out today.
The match, played at Hobart, marks the conclusion of Pakistan’s tour of Australia. The hosts have already clinched the series, having won the first two T20Is. Pakistan will be looking to avoid a clean sweep and end the tour on a high note before moving on to their next white-ball assignment in Zimbabwe.
“Haseebullah Khan returns to the Pakistan lineup and will don the wicket-keeping gloves, while Jahandad Khan is set to make his international debut. The 22-year-old left-arm medium pacer and left-handed batter hails from Rawalpindi and has impressed with his performances in domestic tournaments, including the Presidents Cup and Champions One-Day Cup.”
Australia, on the other hand, have opted to field the same team that has been successful in the first two T20Is of the series.
